Vivek Oberoi Biography
Vivek Anand Oberoi (born 3 September 1976 in Hyderabad) is an Indian actor and social activist. He is the son of Bollywood actor Suresh Oberoi.
Oberoi’s family are Punjabi Khatri; his ancestral background is from Amritsar, Punjab, India. He attended Mithibai College, in Mumbai. His big break came when filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma offered Oberoi a role in his gangster film, Company (2002).
He can speak Hindi, English, fluent Punjabi,Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi and some Nepalese, Kannada, Spanish and Bengali.
Vivek Oberoi debuted in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Company. He received Filmfare Awards for Best Debut as well as Best Supporting Actor. He then starred in the action films, Road and Dum.
