Former Miss Switzerland Accuses Trump of Rape

Beatrice Keul told Democratic staff on the House Judiciary Committee that Donald Trump raped her in a Plaza Hotel suite in 1993 after a beauty-pageant event. Trump and the White House deny the allegation, which has not been adjudicated in court.

A former Swiss beauty-pageant contestant has made one of the most serious new allegations to emerge from the latest congressional review of Donald Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Beatrice Keul told Democratic staff on the House Judiciary Committee that Trump raped her in a Plaza Hotel suite in November 1993, an allegation the White House strongly denies.

Keul’s account appears in a report released by Democrats on the committee after weeks of interviews with women who described encounters involving Trump, Epstein and people in their orbit. The report is partisan committee work rather than a court finding, and Keul’s allegation has not been proven in a criminal or civil case.

According to the committee’s account, Keul was 24 at the time and had traveled to the United States for the American Dream Pageant, an event connected to Trump. She told staff that she met Trump during a press luncheon at the Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time.

Keul said Trump spoke with her about helping her obtain a U.S. visa and gain admission to New York University. She also said Jeffrey Epstein approached her during the same period, introduced himself as Trump’s friend and offered to pay for travel connected to a gathering at Mar-a-Lago.

The most serious part of Keul’s account is what she says happened later that day. She told committee staff that she was taken to a Plaza Hotel suite, where she alleges Trump attacked and raped her.

Keul also told investigators that Trump pressured her to keep quiet afterward and later contacted her in Switzerland. The committee says it gathered additional information from people connected to the pageant, but the public report itself does not turn the accusation into a judicial finding.

The White House has categorically denied Keul’s allegation. A Trump spokesperson called the committee report politically motivated and said the claims against the president are false.

That denial matters because this is not a story where the allegation can responsibly be written as established fact. Keul is accusing a sitting president of rape, Trump denies it, and no court has ruled on this specific claim.

The Epstein connection is what makes the new report especially explosive politically. Keul’s account places Trump and Epstein around the same pageant environment and describes both men allegedly offering forms of help to a young woman trying to build a life in the United States.

Committee Democrats argue that those details fit a broader pattern they believe deserves independent investigation. Republicans and the White House reject that framing and accuse Democrats of using Epstein material to damage Trump before the midterms.

Keul had previously discussed an alleged sexual encounter with Trump, but the new committee report contains far more serious detail about what she says occurred. That escalation is why the story is drawing fresh attention rather than simply recycling an old allegation.

There is no humor to add to a rape allegation, and Buzzy Times should not pretend otherwise. The story is compelling because of who is making the accusation, where she says it happened, the alleged Epstein overlap and the fact that Congress has now put the account into an official report.

The central fact remains unresolved in court. Keul says Trump raped her; Trump says the allegation is false; and the political and legal pressure surrounding the Epstein files has now ensured the claim will be scrutinized far beyond a committee hearing room.
